Many comic book fans are quietly concerned about the newly forming DC cinematic universe under James Gunn, who is set to debut it this year with the release of Superman.
Recently, rumors have surfaced online suggesting that early test screenings of the film didn’t go as smoothly as hoped, leading to speculation that the producers are now worried about the movie’s box office potential.

Still, Gunn continues to inspire a great deal of trust among his fanbase. In response to the rumors, DC has decided to release a short teaser from the film in theaters, hoping to build excitement and reassure audiences that the quality of the movie is nothing to worry about.
The scene begins with Superman lying motionless on the ground, seemingly somewhere in the Arctic, as everything is covered in snow. He’s saved by Krypto — the super-dog — a character who hasn’t had much screen time in the past. This moment not only brings Krypto into the spotlight but also reflects Gunn’s well-known love for dogs, something he’s talked about many times before. Krypto pulls Kal-El to safety, where he’s placed in a chamber and begins to recover using solar energy — and that’s where the clip ends.

So, what do you think? How do you like the character designs — and of course, Superman himself with his adorable canine companion?
The film hits theaters this summer, and we’re keeping our fingers crossed that the creators won’t let us down!
