A24 has made quite a few appearances in our articles — not just because it’s one of the most successful studios in Hollywood right now, but also because its films are often incredibly creative, thought-provoking, and downright captivating.
Recently, it was revealed that director Ari Aster is set to release his new film Eddington, with a trailer that just dropped online. And let’s just say — it’s as mesmerizing as it is original. The teaser takes the shape of an Instagram feed filled with news-style reels, each featuring a different character from the film.

The first reel introduces Joaquin Phoenix as the town sheriff, followed by appearances from Austin Butler and Emma Stone, all capped off by the one and only Pedro Pascal — who, at this point, seems to be absolutely everywhere.
The plot remains largely under wraps, though the official synopsis hints at a conflict between the sheriff and the town’s mayor (played by Pascal) in a place called Eddington, New Mexico.
What can we expect from this film when it hits theaters on July 18? It’s still a mystery — but we’ll be counting down the days until the premiere, trusting that Ari Aster, the powerhouse cast, and A24 won’t let us down.
