Yes, time goes on, things change — but some things stay the same. One of them? Johnny Depp’s ongoing partnership with Dior. The Hollywood icon has been the face of Dior’s Sauvage fragrance for over a decade now, ever since the campaign began in 2015.

In every ad, Depp plays a nameless, mysterious, and always solitary figure — wandering through cities, deserts, or open roads, discovering something new along the way. Whether he’s strumming a guitar, driving through the night, or silently walking through sand dunes, it’s all wrapped in stylish visuals and a killer soundtrack. Sauvage has since become one of the most — if not the most — iconic men’s fragrances in the world. And that’s thanks in no small part to Depp and the incredible creative team behind the campaign.

New behind-the-scenes photos have recently surfaced, showing a fresh-faced Depp on the set of what appears to be a new Sauvage ad. The vibe and aesthetic seem to echo the 2019 campaign — that unforgettable, heat-soaked desert scene where Depp, shrouded in a scarf, wanders through a surreal landscape.

There’s no official word yet on when the new campaign or fragrance release is coming — but fans are just happy to see Depp still thriving. At nearly 62, he’s performing live, staying active, and even preparing to shoot two new films: one with Terry Gilliam, where he’ll play the Lord of Darkness, and another titled The Drunkard — a mysterious thriller from Marc Webb, also starring Penélope Cruz. No release dates have been confirmed yet, but here’s to the legend — wishing him creativity and inspiration always.
